Silver Light Riders Drill Team

Sponsored by the NorthWest Pleasure Tennessee Walker Horse Association, the Silver Light Riders Drill Team is an all-gaited breed drill team (currently, all are Teneesee Walkers, but our team has included  Paso Finos, Rocky Mountains, Peruvian Pasos, and Fox Trotters).  The team performs at several public events during the course of the year, including the Albany Horseman’s Expo and Oregon State Fair.

Want to join?

In the NWPTWHA we have a few simple rules. We ride and exhibit only flat shod pleasure horses. We use humane shoeing, tack, training and conditioning to encourage a horse to do its best in gaits, and we insist on good sportsmanship, horsemanship and most of all -- we have fun! We welcome people all ages and riding ability to join us at our events. Our association is not limited to only the Tennessee Walking Horse, we welcome all gaited horses.
